Opportunities for Students

As a student enrolled at 欧美AV, there are several ways to get involved at The Children's Center. See below for more details.

As a graduate assistant (GA) at The Children's center, you play a vital role in our program's success and mission. Assistantships enable us to serve more children and provide training to families. The GA selection process is highly competitive and includes clinical staff and faculty interviews, Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores, grade point average (GPA), and recommendations.

If selected, you will work 20 hours per week and have direct contact with children. You will start by observing and assisting clinicians in the classroom and clinical situations. Throughout the year, you will help with classroom and therapy preparations, participate in transdisciplinary team meetings, and eventually perform direct or team teaching and therapy. A nationally board-certified Speech-Language Pathologist will supervise you throughout the year. GAs receive a stipend plus insurance per year.
