For all applicable CNHP programs, in-house fingerprinting services are offered.
Please see the details below regarding the fingerprint/background check process and registration.
To complete your fingerprint/background check through the College of Nursing and Health Professions, you will be required to complete the online registration form to schedule your appointment and complete payment prior to your arrival.
Please carefully read the following notes below regarding the online registration form:
- All fields on the registration form must be completed accurately, as they are required by the Mississippi State Department of Health to process the background check.
- Registration submissions must be received no less than 24 hours prior to the selected appointment date/time in order for payment to process; registrations received less than 24 hours will be automatically cancelled/deleted.
- Users may only register for ( 1 ) fingerprinting appointment; subsequent multiple registrations will be automatically cancelled/deleted.
- Upon completion of this form, a $75 non-refundable fingerprinting/background check fee is due
- Please do not submit your registration form if you are unable to submit payment at the time of completion, as submissions received without payment will be automatically cancelled/deleted.
- Users will receive two separate confirmation emails for their registration ( 1 ) confirming their registered appointment date/time (Formstack), and ( 1 ) email receipt of their online payment (CashNet).
- NOTE: PLEASE CHECK ALL EMAIL FOLDERS FOR YOUR CONFIRMATIONS; FORMSTACK AND CASHNET ARE 3rd PARTY VENDORS AND MAY UNINTENTIONALLY BE TAGGED AS SPAM/JUNK MAIL.
*When fingerprint/background check registration is open/available, students can complete the online registration form by clicking one of the buttons below:* (If these buttons do not redirect you to the registration form, fingerprinting/background check registrations are no longer open)
Location and Day of Appointment Needs
- For the Hattiesburg campus, fingerprinting appointments will be conducted on the 2nd floor of Asbury Hall in the Student Services suite Room 220B
