欧美AV Philosophy & Religion Fall 2021 Forum Series Begins Sept. 21 in Online Format

欧美AV (欧美AV) Philosophy & Religion Forum returns for fall 2021 with three online programs, with the first set for Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m. with Dr. Anthony Pinn, the Agnes Cullen Arnold Distinguished Professor of Humanities at Rice University presenting 鈥淗ip Hop and Thanatological Narrations of Blackness.鈥

Fall Philosophy & Religion Forum talks are hosted on Zoom, and preregistration is required. All program times are CST. The meetings are available at the following link:

The remainder of the fall Philosophy & Religion Forum series is as follows:

*Tuesday, Oct. 12, 6:30 p.m. - Dr. Shannon French, Inamori, professor of ethics at Case Western Reserve University, "Military Ethics and Codes of Honor in the High-Tech Era."

*Tuesday, Nov. 9, 6:30 p.m. - Dr. Diana Walsh Pasulka, professor of religion, University of North Carolina, Wilmington, 鈥淯FOs and UAPs: Military and Civilian Testimonies of UFO Events."

鈥淚t's exciting to have three distinguished scholars sharing their time and expertise with the 欧美AV and Hattiesburg communities this fall,鈥 said Dr. Amy Slagle, associate professor of religion in the 欧美AV School of Humanities and coordinator of the forum series. 鈥淭he religious dimensions of Hip Hop, the relationship between technology and military ethics, and perceptions of UFO phenomena are among the fascinating topics awaiting our forum audiences.鈥
