Media and communication jobs in the U.S. are projected to grow 14 percent by 2030. With majors in sound, video, entertainment management, strategic communication, digital journalism and communication studies, our graduates are working across the country and around the world in television stations and other news outlets, PR and advertising agencies, media production and music venues, non-profit groups and many other companies and institutions. They are social media managers, journalists, news anchors, media sales professionals, public relations practitioners, advertising specialists, corporate communication officers, recruiters and trainers, and many more. The School of Media and Communication houses the undergraduate programs of strategic communication, digital journalism, communication studies, and media and entertainment arts, as well as graduate programs in communication and public relations (online).
