Biomedical Sciences - Master's
Why Pursue Your MS in Biomedical Sciences?
Building Foundations for Potential Careers in Both the Clinical and Basic Sciences.
The MS in Biomedical Sciences is designed to enhance the academic preparation for students pursuing acceptance to medical school, dental school, veterinary school, pharmacy school, and other profession programs related to healthcare. In addition, the program may serve to strengthen the preparation of students interested in applying to Ph.D. programs in the basic medical sciences (including those in Anatomy/Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology/Immunology, Molecular Biology/Genetics, Physiology, Pathology, and Pharmacology).
This is a non-thesis based Master of Science program which may be completed in one calendar year. Faculty with advanced graduate education/training in a number of biomedical disciplines participate as instructors in the program.
What Will I Learn?
As a graduate student in the program, you will have the opportunity to develop a sound knowledge base in fundamental basic medical sciences such as dissection-based human gross anatomy, histology, molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, physiology, pathobiology, and biostatistics.
Feature
Meet Jesslin Williams
After high school, I wanted to continue my education at a school that was inclusive
and where I felt like more than just a number. When I toured 欧美AV in 2014, it felt
like a place where I could grow as an individual and much more. I completed my undergraduate
studies in Biological Sciences at 欧美AV in 2018. I decided to return to 欧美AV for my master鈥檚
degree because I knew that I would be supported during the program and well-equipped
afterwards.
